For SOUNDBURSTING, Clinker (aka Gary James Joynes) mines the textural nuance, minimalism and rich sound palette of the 1976 Minimoog Model D analogue synthesizer. Known for its unrivalled subsonic bass frequency capabilities, the Minimoog was chosen as the sole sound source for this piece.

SOUNDBURSTING is presented as a new cymatic animation of sound waves chosen for their “visual-sound” reaction – both direct and concrete – to sub-bass explorations.
