ALPHA involves sounds, visuals and algorithmic sequencing, providing a unique experience for the audience in which sounds and visuals melt into a dense, coherent and minimalistic work of art. From the physical aspect of sound to customized algorithmic sequencers controlled in real time, the ALPHA A/V performance explores relationships between sound and image, pushing the limits and boundaries between these two creative fields.
Working at the crossroads of sound and image, Julien Bayle seeks to merge visual art, music composition, a physical approach to sound art and graphical visualization by creating live audiovisual performances and digital installations. He attempts to reveal the invisible hidden in what surrounds us.
