Écosystèmes Numériques is an artistic and educational project in which students age 8 to 16 collaborate with the artists Herman Kolgen and Mickaël Lafontaine to create chemical, light and sound ecosystems. This project approaches audio as matter and energy, the properties of which can be precisely analyzed to control the forms and the chemical structure of landscapes the sound travels across. Using this approach, science and the senses feed on one another to produce a surprising alchemy between sound and image.

The collective Ekos is made up of three CSDM schools. Primary schools St-Ambroise and Au-Pied-de-la-Montagne will open the show. The main performance will be by a group from Marguerite De-Lajemmerais high school.
